We have set about designing the perfect ballet flat – one that is made of the highest quality materials and construction, but also looks delicate and petite on the foot. To start, we sent three pairs of our most admired ballet flats – a Bloch, Repetto and Lanvin – to a factory, and a spec sheet that told them what elements to borrow from each shoe. What they sent back to us was terrible (refer to the previous video). So Mark Neighbour and Marc C. Close set about making a sample of the perfect ballet flat, and this is what they came up with.
